Carol Reed, M.D.: Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer – Dr. Reed is responsible for Clinical Data’s biomarker development, drug-specific partnership collaborations and clinical programs.  Prior to joining clinical data, Dr. Reed served as the Vice President of Medical Affairs at Genaissance Pharmaceuticals.  Dr. Reed joined Genaissance from Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where she was an Associate Medical Director in Pulmonary Medical Research.  Previously, she was the Associate Director, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine and Medical Director, Medical Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital of St. Raphael.  Dr. Reed received a M.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Illinois and a M.D. from the Rush Medical College in Chicago. She is board-ceritifed in Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Medicine. She is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians.
