Patients and Family Members
If you believe that you have a cardiac channelopathy or a cardiomyopathy, the FAMILION test can help you and your doctor determine the answer. If you already know that you have a cardiac channelopathy or a cardiomyopathy, the test can:
- Identify the specific mutation that you carry
- Guide treatment options
- Determine whether family members are at risk
How it Works:
- Your doctor or a lab collects a small blood sample and sends it to the testing facility
- Results are returned directly to your doctor, usually within 6 weeks
- You and your doctor use the results to help determine the best course of action
